Say I sell your stuff on an auction site....
It sells for 100.00. I pay an insertion fee of 1.00, a final value fee for 6.00......What would be a fair commission to make off this sell? I want to start my own business and want to know what you as a consumer would pay me...... Mind, that I take the pics and spend the time to list it and pack it and ship it off for you????

Please help.....Some input would be nice....

first ask youself what you want to make per hour. then figure how much time does it take to do all of that plus your cost.
if it takes 1hr(amount you want to make per hour) + cost = price you should charge

Start off smallish say 20%, with such a small commmision you should attract clients to sell for, see how it goes, if you do well you could put a price range e.g 100.00 to 200.00 20% then 200.00 to 500.00 10% 500.00 to 100.00 7.5%. Just be careful you don't get used as a fence(seller of stolen goods) you will have not much defence if and when!!!!! caught. Good luck and good trading, lots of people are too lazy to ebay etc for themselves. Heavy goods will be a different matter you state the percentage and add on postage(shipping)...Hey and don't forget the taxman, better safe than sorry :-)
